10 DAYS OF PRAYER & FASTING
DAY 10
Revival & Testimonies
Pause & Reflect
A divided house falls and crumbles. The best way to conquer a nation, a community, a church or a family is to divide them and turn them against each other, sit back and watch them implode. Sadly the story of humanity is one of brokenness and disunity and this has enabled the enemy of humanity to run riot and steal, kill and destroy with impunity. God on the other hand exists in unity, Father, Son and Holy Spirit, co equal, united in purpose and mission now and forever more. To create a community that is healthy and where everyone feels they belong we need unity. We do not need uniformity but a unity of the Spirit that celebrates our differences, challenges our vices but pursues truth in a way that unites rather than divides.
As we bring our prayer and fasting to an end we want to ask you to come. Come and let us meet with God together. Your physical presence tells a thousand stories. When you are not present we are not whole and when you disengage we are the poorer for it.
On this last day we want to celebrate Jesus, recommit our lives to him and also to each other and then take up the challenge to seek God together, love one another and work together to see one another grow in Christ and those far away from Jesus brought into his household.
Let us journey through today asking God to make us ONE and then let us celebrate together as we encounter God’s presence together.
BIBLE
“My prayer is not for the world, but for those you have given me, because they belong to you. All who are mine belong to you, and you have given them to me, so they bring me glory. Now I am departing from the world; they are staying in this world, but I am coming to you. Holy Father, you have given me your name; now protect them by the power of your name so that they will be united just as we are.
John 17:9-11 NLT
