Come Holy Spirit

I would say it simply: No one can give that which he doesn’t personally possess, which means we cannot transmit the Holy Spirit in an effective way, render the Spirit perceptible, if we ourselves aren’t close to the Spirit. Pope Benedict XVI
When God created humanity it was only as God breathed on them that they became living beings. The mission of the church in the New Testament began only as the Holy Spirit arrived. Jesus indicated that power for mission, for transformation and for new life resides in the Holy Spirit and as followers of Jesus that same Spirit that strengthened Jesus for his mission, transformed His dead body and gave Him back His life now lives in us.
BIBLE
When the Spirit of truth comes, he will guide you into all truth. He will not speak on his own but will tell you what he has heard. He will tell you about the future.

PRAY
- Thank God for the wonderful gift of the Holy Spirit and pray for a new revelation of God’s Holy Spirit in the church.
- Pray that the church will once again submit to the leading of the Holy Spirit in all its ministries
- Pray that individual followers of Jesus in our church and wider church community will give the Holy Spirit room to guide and transform them
- Pray for a renewed desire to let the Holy Spirit guide us into all truth about Jesus.
- Pray that God’s power through the Holy Spirit will be self-evident in our lives.
WORSHIP
PRAYER MEETING
We will meet every evening 6-7pm at the ElimCentre to worship and pray together.
Would be great to see as many of us there as possible
