10 DAYS OF PRAYER & FASTING
DAY 9
Worship
Pause & Reflect
Worship is a declaration that God is in the midst of all that is happening in our world today, a powerful weapon against any lie that says God is not in control or that he is not able.
Worshipping together teaches us to submit and surrender all our cares to God – our priorities, plans, hopes, dreams, and even our fears. Worship and prayer are not a guarantee that our problems and situations will change immediately, but it will definitely help change and direct our hearts and perspective in life towards God. Being able to worship is a blessing because it gives comfort for our present, and hope for our future.
Above all, we value worship because of this main reason: God is worthy of our worship. We will face different seasons in our lives and that is normal. In fact, what is “normal” could change, just as we are seeing now. But God’s lordship, love, mercy, and faithfulness will not.

BIBLE
Come, let us sing for joy to the Lord; let us shout aloud to the Rock of our salvation. Let us come before him with thanksgiving and extol him with music and song. For the Lord is the great God, the great King above all gods. In his hand are the depths of the earth, and the mountain peaks belong to him. The sea is his, for he made it, and his hands formed the dry land. Come, let us bow down in worship, let us kneel before the Lord our Maker;
Psalm 95:1-6 NIV
PRAY
- That Holy Spirit will lead and teach us how to worship God
- That as we seek God in worship, He will reveal more of Himself to us
- That worship becomes an essential part of our daily walk with God
- That ‘walls will fall’ and ‘mountains will move’ as we give God His rightful place
- That revival will fall upon us, our church and our town as we worship
