But those who trust in the Lord will find new strength. They will soar high on wings like eagles. They will run and not grow weary. They will walk and not faint. Isaiah 40:31
REFLECT
God delights in refreshing His people, and the abundant life promised through Jesus is rooted in this renewal. It is easy to fall into the trap of wanting the rewards (soaring, running, walking without fainting) without embracing the condition of the reward: TRUST. It is when we cease relying on our own fragile abilities and instead lean completely on God that the supernatural wellspring of new strength is unlocked, enabling us to truly soar.
PRAYER FOCUS
Let us seek deep refreshment, allowing the Spirit’s power to displace all fear and mistrust.
Inward Flow: Pray for the River of God to flow powerfully in us, cleansing, invigorating, and strengthening every aspect of our inner life.
Push Back Fear: Pray that the spirit of mistrust and fear will be actively pushed back and displaced by quiet confidence in God’s character.
Leadership Trust: Pray for all our leaders, within the church here and in our wider communities to consciously choose to trust God rather than leaning on their own finite strength or wisdom.
Vision for elimWorthing: Pray that this will be a defining year of soaring above all challenges and setbacks, gaining a better, higher perspective of what God wants to do in us and through us.
