Satan is called the accuser of the bethrens.
He is constantly looking for ways to destabilise our faith, our hope and kill off the love of God in our heart for others and for God. On the subject of ‘No Condemnation’ taking the bible at face value is so important. Anyone who is in Christ needs to know that their condemnation is a historical event that lies over 2000 years in the past. It’s done. Jesus paid the price. Therefore there is now no condemnation for those in Christ Jesus. Condemnation is not a fruit or gift of the Holy Spirit
The man who has God for his treasure has all things in One. Many ordinary treasures may be denied him, but the one great Treasure makes up for all. Against a thousand empty promises, he has the living God for his hope. There is no condemnation for those who embrace Him.” A.W.Tozer
Take the opportunity to thank God for this important truth (no condemnation for those in Christ) and for the fact that Jesus’ life has made this possible. Pray for God’s church to be free from the stings of condemnation and pray specifically for those who you might know who are being crushed by the weight of condemnation. Pray God’s release for them in Jesus name.
Pray for yourself, pray for this truth to be active in your heart and to guide you daily so the weight of condemnation in any form does not crush or hinder your walk with Jesus.
Pray especially that God will give you the wisdom and discernment to know the difference between Holy Spirit conviction and Satanic condemnation.
The Greek word used in Romans 8:1 is the word ‘katakrima’; it means an adverse sentence or verdict handed down after a judgment process. It carries the final judicial pronouncement of guilt. Satan will always try to act as judge and jury over our lives and will pronounce condemnation but God rules and states ‘There is no condemnation – Take time to mull over that. Blessings
