One of the lessons that experience teaches us is “even the most intense feelings can cease when neglected and taken for granted.” It is easy to take for granted those we made a commitment to love and cherish until death do us part.
Over seven days we want to reimagine love, refresh our commitment and challenge complacency in our marriages. It has been said ‘it takes two to tango’ it definitely takes two people to intentionally make their relationship reach its heights and depths. The marriage week adventure will challenge your commitment, stretch your imagination and revitalize your love muscles.
This resource has been put together as part of our marriage week celebration for 2023. It is meant to be used as a couples activity. Take time out of your schedule and enjoy doing the sessions together and learn more about each other and also your relationship.
We believe communication is vital to any relationship but are also aware that people communicate in different ways.So we hope you find this information helpful and it enhances your marriage relationship as you engage with it.
Every relationship goes through its ups and downs and no one can predict the depth of challenges any relationship will face. What are the strategies for staying together body, soul and spirit when life throws curveballs at you?
Come and listen to a couple who have navigated the highs and lows of life and have learned to stay together and work together in their marriage relationship.
Join us from midday in Haskins’ Private Room, hired for our sole use and where teas and coffees will be provided by us. Then purchase your own lunch from the Restaurant and come to eat and sit together. We appreciate that lunches will be staggered depending on the time you arrive but we aim for all to have eaten by 1.30
