Session Two - GOD OF EMPTY SPACES
In the same way, you who are younger must accept the authority of the elders. And all of you, dress yourselves in humility as you relate to one another, for “God opposes the proud but gives grace to the humble.” 1 Peter 5:5
REFLECTION
It takes courage and humility to admit your problems. It’s humbling to admit something has gone wrong in the management of your personal affairs but the wife of the prophet who died put that all aside and shared her problem. It also takes faith and humility to be obedient and this lady had both. It is also important to see that sometimes God’s provision comes into our lives based on the space we provide for him to work.

PRAYER
It is so easy to fill up all our schedules with work, play, TV, family, church and other activities that we have no space for God to fill. Use this session to pray that God will help you create margins in your schedule. Space in your thinking and room in your life for God to be able to act on your behalf.
MEDITATE
There was a part for the woman and her children to play and there was a part for God. When the woman and her children went out borrowing empty containers, it was an act of faith. God filled the containers and now it was time to sell them. What act of faith do you need to take?
