What we think and see will have a huge effect on what we do and how we behave. Our perspective will have a huge impact on whether we stand our ground and fight or whether we turn and run away.

In our story the giant the people of Israel were facing dictated what the people of Israel saw and they were not even aware of it. After Goliath trumpeted his credentials he then made this statement that set the people’s perspectives into motion ““…I am the Philistine champion, but you are only the servants of Saul. Choose one man to come down here and fight me!” 1 Samuel 17:8
