10 DAYS OF PRAYER & FASTING DAY 5 God’s Healing Pause & Reflect One of the most common miracles Jesus performed when He walked the earth was to heal the sick and to deliver people from demonic oppression. He was moved by their pain and had compassion on them. Today, we can trust that the […]

4 Thriving Households

10 DAYS OF PRAYER & FASTING DAY 4 Thriving Households Pause & Reflect The psalmist in his meditation on loneliness states “God places the lonely in families”. Family was a part of God’s original mandate for humanity and created beings. We are told that everything was made in kind and commanded to reproduce in kind. […]

However, we are to be those who stand in the gap, who lift up our nation with all it favours and faults before the throne of God, and pray that He continues to work in our midst

2 Healthy Church

A healthy church is not a church that’s perfect and without sin. It has not figured everything out. Rather, it’s a church that continually strives to take God’s side in the battle against the ungodly desires and deceits of the world, our flesh, and the devil. It’s a church that continually seeks to conform itself to God’s Word.”

We would like to begin our 10 days of Prayer & Fasting by stopping & quieting our hearts so we can fully focus on God. We live in a world today that demands our attention every minute of every day and it pressures us to keep moving forward both physically and mentally which is exhausting! .

In this series our focus is on the practical outworking of the truth presented in Romans and we want to explore how we can live differently and have a completely different lifestyle than what is in our prevailing culture.

Our focus for this first part is going to be on Chapter 12 and our desire is that through exploring this chapter God will create a sense of belonging to his family and also help us create a healthy pattern for living out our faith.

Being grateful in difficult circumstances

When I was asked to write a blog on this subject the first thought may have been to write a huge list of life’s positives and hopefully the list would overpower the negative issues, and all would be well. This would have been my fall back before I came to faith in Jesus around ten years […]

Sheila Purcell

When I was a kid every night before I went to sleep, mum or dad would ask us the one thing that had made us happy that day. They would tell me how important it was to be grateful for the good things in life, even on a bad day there was usually one small […]
